What is the cost for tutoring?
The rate for tutors is $40 per hour in your home, $35 in the tutor’s home. However, not all tutors tutor in their own homes. Group rates are available.

Do you provide tutors only in Vancouver?
We provide tutors throughout Metro Vancouver: Abbotsford, Aldergrove, Burnaby, Chilliwack, Cloverdale, Coquitlam, Delta, Fort Langley, Horseshoe Bay, Ladner, Langley, Maple Ridge, Mission, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Port Moody, Richmond, Steveston, Surrey, Tsawwassen, Vancouver, White Rock, West Vancouver.

Do you provide tutoring in your office?
No, tutoring is in the client’s home, although some of our tutors will tutor in their own homes.

Are your tutors qualified?
Yes, they are. Our tutors have education degrees and/or a Masters degree or PhD related to their teaching subjects.

Are your tutors currently teaching?
Most of our tutors are teaching full or part-time, or are teachers on call. Some are retired.

What is the minimum length of a tutoring session?
One hour.

How do I make payments?
You pay the tutor directly, after each session, by cash or cheque.

Do I have to sign a contract?
No - tutors are paid on a session by session basis.

What is your cancellation policy?
If it is necessary to cancel an appointment, at least 24 hours notice must be given or the hourly fee will be charged.

Do you tutor students who are taking correspondence (distance education) courses?
Yes - we also tutor students who are home-schooled.

Yes - many of our tutors are available during the summer.

Yes. All of our tutors are required to do this before joining our service.
