We provide quality BC Certified tutors throughout Metro Vancouver.
Qualified
Our tutors are qualified teachers. They have either a BC College of Teachers' Teaching Certificate or a BC Independent Teaching Certificate. Some have either a Master's Degree or PhD with College or University level teaching experience. Teachers' Tutoring Service tutors are properly qualified to tutor the subjects for which they are referred.
High Ethical Standards
In addition to the BCTF Code of Ethics, our tutors are also required to follow the Teachers’ Tutoring Service Code of Ethics. All tutors with our service have successfully completed the Government Criminal Record Check.
Experienced
Generally our tutors are full or part-time teachers within the school system, teachers-on-call (TOCs or substitute teachers), retired teachers or full-time tutors. We have tutors for Elementary and Secondary school in all subjects: Math, Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), English, ESL, History and Social Studies, as well as other subjects and some languages.
